***GONE 07/13/15***GO ASK BEGINNER
ALICE—SHE DOESN’T NEED A WONDERLAND JUST YOU! Awww….Alice is a positively purrfect 11 month old kitten with a purrfect beginner behavior rating and would be the purrfect companion to anyone. Can you believe that the person who took care of her for a few days could actually give this little angel up and surrender her to a kill shelter? Wouldn’t you think that anyone who met this friendly and affectionate precious pet would fall in love and want to keep her furever. Alice is an affectionate little doll who deserves the chance to grow up in a loving home. She just deserves the chance to grow up. But now that she has a couple of curable kitty sniffles, she is slated to become another sad ACC stat when tomorrow afternoon rolls around. If you are fed up with purrfectly adoptable cats being victims of a broken shelter system, why not do something and be THE SOMEBODY in somebody do something? Please reserve Alice online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation. Don’t forget fostering saves lives so let a rescue know if you can offer temporary safe haven. Wonderful little Alice doesn’t want or need a wonderland. All she wants and needs is you. Please don’t let her down.

07/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Quints becomes alert upon approach. When softly spoken to, he looks at the assessor, and then looks away. Reaction to cage door opening: Quints becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Quints becomes tense and tries to squeeze into the corner of the cage. He lip licks and allows petting, but tries to avoid interaction as much as possible and starts to blink. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Quints tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
