BEHAVIOR:
Note: Quartz is friendly, affectionate, and playful with new people and his littermates. He eats well and always uses his litter box. He snuggles and sleeps with her siblings and plays with all types of toys. He doesn’t mind being picked up and cuddled with. He was tense upon intake, but allowed all handling without any issues.
Reaction to assessor: Quartz was calm and relaxed by the front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Quartz attempts to sniff the assessor.
Reaction to cage door opening: Quartz remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Quartz was a little hesitant at first, but remains in place for petting and starts to purr.
Reaction to being picked up: Quartz remains calm and allows handling.
Behavior Determination: Average
Quartz interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
