**SAFE 11/14/15** ANOTHER CHANCE FOR PURRFECT PURR!! This ADORABLE, munchkin- face is PURR. A 10 month old girl with a wish to be freed from the ACC. She’s being treated for a URI and still managed to charm the assessor into giving her an AVERAGE rating! And with the help of antibiotics to treat her URI,she also needs an antidote to heal her heart! Let PURR see that humans are not so bad and offer to FOSTER or ADOPT her and give her a reason to PURR!

11/07/15 15:54 Profile wasn’t left due to cats being stray. Behavior During Intake: Purr was brought into the facility in a cat carrier provided by the finder with one other cat. Upon arrival Purr was at the back of the carrier and appeared to be afraid. Moving slow and speaking in a soft spoken voice I was able to handle Purr at the time of intake.

Purr came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Purr appeared fearful but allowed all handling. Reaction to assessor: Purr is lying mid-cage, soft and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Purr continues to be soft and relaxed. Reaction to cage door opening: Purr looks up at the assessor. Reaction to touch: Purr allows petting and handling. Reaction to pick up: Purr calmly jumps down from assessor’s arms. Placement Determination: Average Purr does not approach the assessor, but allows all handling. Purr is exhibiting behavior sutied to average cat parents. Please note that Purr is being treated for an upper-respiratory infection at the time of the assessment, and this may affect the behaviors shown.
