*** SAFE 12/22/15 ***AFFECTIONATE TWO YEAR OLD SEEKS LOVING CHRISTMAS HOME…..PUMPKIN and friend ZARO (not listed) hung out in the finder’s back yard for two months where she fed them…..Instead of trying to find this adorable girl a home, the finder brought PUPMKIN and ZARO to the ACC…was that the best she could do?? And now this little black and white angel with the BEGINNER rating faces a death sentence because she has a cold!! “Pumpkin head-butts, leans into petting, and begins to purr. She was very affectionate throughout the interaction” PLEASE GIVE THIS LOVELY YOUNG LADY A NEW AND CARING HOME THIS HOLIDAY SEASON…..APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT NOW!!

12/10/15 10:37 Pumpkin A1060106 and Zaro A1060108 were both found in the finder’s back yard. The finder says that they have been out there for approx 2 months. She has been feeding them dry cat food and wet food. Behavior during intake Pumpkin had a soft body and was friendly. She allowed me to scan(-) and collar her. I carried and pet her as I placed her onto the back drop. She purred as i pet her softly on her head and body. I carried her and transferred her into a kennel.

12/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER

Pumpkin was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder has been feeding her and another cat for 2 months. She had a soft body and was friendly upon intake. She allowed all handling and purred as the counselor pet her softly on her head and body. Reaction to assessor: Pumpkin was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pumpkin looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes and stretches. Reaction to cage door opening: Pumpkin remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Pumpkin head-butts, leans into petting, and begins to purr. She was very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Pumpkin remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Pumpkin interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
