PUMPKIN – A1057895
Gone 11-29-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 11/29/15** SECOND CHANCE FOR THE GREAT “PUMPKIN”….Handsome PUMPKIN needs someone to give him a big hug and make everything okay in his world again. A trip to the vet would be a good start, or at least, it would be helpful to know what that “leg injury” is that he entered the shelter with. It undoubtedly pains him 24/7 since he has difficulty walking, so of course that factors into his grumpiness at the shelter. Everyone knows how loving and mushy most orange cats are, and PUMPKIN is probably no exception…once he feels safe in his surroundings. This 12-month-old KITTEN needs YOU to FOSTER or ADOPT him, tonight!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Pumpkin looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Pumpkin remains curled up tightly, alert with ears down to his side. Reaction to touch: Pumpkin accepts the stroke, but flinches during the touch and stiffens up. Placement determination: Experience / no child Pumkin tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
