10/11/15 15:19 Profile wasn’t left due to cat ceing stray. Behavior During Intake: Psyduck was brought into the facility in a cat carrier provided by the finder. Upon arrival Psyduck was at the front of the carrier and was very vocal. When I reached in towards her to pet her she nudged her head into my hand and allowed me to rub her. I was able to scan, collar, and handle Psyduck with no issues at the time of intake.

Psyduck came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Psyduck was vocal and solicited attention. Reaction to assessor: Psyduck is at the front of the cage, begins rubbing against cage front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Psyduck continues soliciting attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Psyduck remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Psyduck gently head-butts assessor’s hands, solicits petting. Reaction to pick up: Psyduck calmly jumps down from the assessor’s arms. Placement Determination: Beginner Psyduck approaches the front of the cage, solicits attention, and tolerates all handling. Psyduck is exhibiting behavior suited to new cat parents.
