PRYNCESS – A1047839
8-19-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 08/19/15*** PRYNCESS IS THE PURRRFECT CAT, BUT has been handed a raw deal. You see, brought in because of ‘child conflict’ this little girl who looks like she may perhaps be part Nebelung, a cat that is very sensitive and tends to bond to one person at a time. PRYNCESS is also not spayed, and an intact female cat can be very protective of her space and self . With the right environment, some patience, and a little understanding and love, this is the perfect little girl. Often, people who turn cats into ACC don’t understand anything about cats, they buy them as summer toys and entertainment for the children. PRYNCESS may have learned to run, to hide, to be afraid of dogs and children because she had to be, and now she’s even more afraid in the scary shelter. In a quiet space of her own, with some time to just relax, this will be a very different cat altogether. But she needs that chance! Will you partner with a rescue and get this wonderful little girl out of there? SAVE PRYNCESS TONIGHT!!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Pryncess looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Pryncess remains crouched down at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Pryncess sniffs the assessor’s hand, hisses with ears down to her side and swats. Placement determination: NH ONLY Pryncess is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room.
