PRUDENCE – A1036630
***GONE 05/26/15*** BACK ON THE LIST FOR A SECOND TIME – RESCUE FELL THROUGH – PLEASE GRANT PRECIOUS PRUDENCE A DEATH ROW PARDON TONIGHT!! Remarkably Cute Spayed Lady Needs A New Hope Rescue To Save Her Tonight! How adorable is PRUDENCE, with her huge amber eyes and those twin dark smudges on top of her sweet little head? Prudence belongs to someone that she loves, and misses, very much. She wasn’t all that keen about being manhandled by rough strangers, so she very politely kept her claws sheathed while giving the ACC staff a few “no, thank you very much” pats with her paws. They interpreted that as aggression and slapped her with a New Hope status. Only a rescue group can pull Prudence for a foster or adopter, tonight. Please share her everywhere, because PRUDENCE is definitely worth it! CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO SAVE PRUDENCE!

05/17/15 11:48 Prudence was affectionate during the first part of the intake. She came out of her carrier slowly and once out was very interested in having her head petted and exploring the environment. She became irritable during the picture and when I tried to collar her, and she began to hiss and swat at me. She allowed limited handling.

05/20/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Prudence looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Prudence remains lying down on her cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Prudence accepts the stroke, but began to grumble when touched on her back. She then hisses and swats (with no claws) to stop the assessment. Placement determination: NH ONLY Prudence is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
