Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Popo looks tense in his cage when approached the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Popo remains hiding in his cat den, alert with pupils dilated. Reaction to touch: Popo does not allow the stroke then began to hiss and retreat away from the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Popo is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
