***GONE 07/14/15*** “AFFECTIONATE”, PLAYFUL YOUNG TABBY, DUMPED FOR “PERSONAL PROBLEMS”, HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT POM POM A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Pretty princess POM POM, a two-year-old gray tabby and calico girl, was sadly surrendered to the kill-happy ACC due to her old owner’s “PERSONAL PROBLEMS” and ill health. At home, sweet Pom Pom was PURR-fect: “Pom Pom’s owner describes her as an affectionate yet low activity cat that is usually lying around the house. Pom Pom lives with adults and will rub her body against them when she wants attention. She allows petting and being carried. Pom Pom behaves independently in her home. Pom Pom is a well behaved, laid back yet affectionate cat. She would follow her owner around the home sometimes and was used to sleeping in bed with her owner. She played with cat stuffed toys and balls.” Pom Pom earned a very good EXPERIENCE behavior rating for her sweet MEOWS and the trusting way she ALLOWED PETTING. But Pom Pom caught the notorious ACC kitty cold, which the ACC “CURES” via lethal injection, so poor Pom Pom will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of a badly broken shelter system. Please don’t let them murder this excellent young tabby calico! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt lovable POM POM! If you can’t save POM POM yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

Reaction to assessor: Pom Pom was at the front, calm and relaxed. When softly spoken to, she meows softly and sniffs around. Reaction to cage door opening: Pom Pom remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Pom Pom allows stroke on her head and back, but whines after. She becomes stiff after a little while, focuses on the assessor’s hand, and hisses.
