The moms to be have EXPERIENCE ratings (which is understandable) and POLO has an AVERAGE rating. THREE NICE CATS WITH A DEATH SENTENCE….SO VERY WRONG!! PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER TONIGHT!! It is so very important to save lives….kitten season is starting and the rescues need new fosters!! START TONIGHT AND SAVE PATRICIA, PRETTY AND POLO!!

At the time of the assessment he was displaying good behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Polo is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling. Scan negative Male, 6 years old Slightly scared in carrier. Hissed, but once out of cage, was able to be handled. Did get a little impatient after prolonged exam, but overall can be handled. Possible beginning of URI. Slightly dehydrated. Old, healed scar above right eye. Severe dental tartar present with gum recession on canines. Mouth seemed painful when touched. Clindamycin (1.2cc) PO BID x 7days Doxycycline liquid (0.6cc) PO SID x 10 days Erythromycin OU BID x 7days Activyl applied for flea prevention
