*SAFE* 06/09/15- Meet Polly. This one year old girl is in need of the extra special somebody now in her time of need. She fell from a building and has suffered a possible fracture on her left hind leg. She is in need of immediate veterinary follow up care so her little leg can mend and heal. She needs some love and TLC. Will you be Polly’s extra special somebody?

I am an unaltered female, brown tabby Domestic Shorthair mix.

The shelter staff think I am about 1 year old.

I weigh 6 pounds.

I was found in NY 10455.

I have been at the shelter since Jun 03, 2015.

 

INTIAL EXAM

scan negative

reported cat was thrown off a roof at housing copmplex

abrasions on muzzle, cleaned with novalson

unable to use left hind limb, poss Fx, pain and crepitus felt on palpation

spoke to Dr Spector and explained

Dr rec to 0.25cc of Buprenex 0.3mg//ml inj

NOSF

6/4 scan negative

 

jaw and teeth ok

h/l wnl

ribs ok

unable to use left hind limb, poss Fx, pain and crepitus felt on palpation

 

A: Fx to left hind – tibia – closed fracture

 

P: Buprenex 0.3mg//ml inj – 0.25cc SC BID 10 d
