I am a female torbie domestic lh. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 05/20/2015 from NY 11229, owner surrender reason stated was OWNER DIED. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-014665.

05/25/2015 Exam Type RE-EXAM – Medical Rating is 1 – NORMAL , Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 5.6 LBS.

Polly’s eyes are scarred due to perinatal infection with rhintracheitis virus the nystagmus and head bobbing is likely secondary to nerve damage from this infection as well. the eyes are “quiet”–this is not an ongoing process and is only a cosmetic concern. polly is not blind but may have limited visual acuity no therapy needed excellent prognosis. Scanned negative BARH – hissed, growled, tried to bite – 0.1mL Telazol given Ears nose, mouth clear Mild gingivitis along upper molars Nystagmus of both eyes – may be partially blind in left eye. Animal tends to track (strike from her right side) Activyl applied

05/23/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD

Notes: Polly was bought into the care center because her owner passed away. Polly at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats (2) Reaction to touch: tries to aviod being touched (2) Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Placement Determination: Experience no child
