***SAFE 08/07/15*** MEET THE PERFECT CAT, POCKY! A VOLUNTEER HAS THIS TO SAY ABOUT HIM; ‘Little Pocky is so sweet and toothsome, it seems fitting that he’s named for Japan’s cutest snack food, that adorable frosted biscuit stick that looks like a tiny flux-coated welding rod and comes in umpteen exotic flavors. With his luxuriant black fur, accented by a tiny swatch of white on his tummy, Pocky is as refined and delectable as Hokkaido Chocolate Mousse, while his pleasantly stout little frame might have been the inspiration for Green Tea Midi. He loves to roll over on his back to receive belly rubs, and although he can get a bit squirmy when you pick him up, chances are he is just being play-feisty like a Pikachu or naughty-sweet like a Bad Badtz-Maru. So pour yourself a refreshing glass of Calpis and head on over to Brooklyn ACC to meet this precious little Pokemon today!’ POCKY is most likely an abandoned cat-left behind by a previous tenant as he came in through an open window to greet the new tenant. POCKY is noted to be sweet as honey, rolling onto his back for rubs and head butting those who pet him. But his life is on the line because ACC will still kill him tomorrow for a cold of all things. POCKY needs you!!! Please, offer to foster this sleek and quite adorable fellow! He’s charming, and would love to charm you. Black cats have a harder time making it out of ACC alive-don’t let his life be snuffed out-scoop him up and carry him into your life-you’ll be so glad you did!

07/23/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/23/15 16:47 Pocky was found inside of an apartment by the new tentant. He has been wandering in and out of the apartment via a window for the past three days. Client would feed Pocky temptation treats and he would greet him with a soft body. He does not like being picked up and attempted to scratch and hiss when lifted (did not break skin). They had to use a pillowcase to place him inside the carrier. Pocky was a bit nervous at first. He was tense body and went to the back of the carrier. After giving him a bit of wet food, Pocky cautiously left the carrier and allowed me to collar him. After a few minutes he allowed me to rub his cheeks and he began to head butt and roll on his back while purring. He then would come forward and solicit attention. He ate temptation treats from my hand and walked into the carrier on his own when I threw treats in the back.
