***SAFE 04/23/15*** DARLING KITTEN DUO, DUMPED AS STRAYS, ARE PERFECTLY HEALTHY, BUT WILL DIE DUE TO THEIR FEAR – PLEASE GRANT PISTACHIO AND PEACH DROP A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! A darling duo of one-year-old kittens – PISTACHIO and PEACH DROP – find themselves stuffed into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as supposedly STRAY laddies, yet they had NO fleas or ear mites! These scared little boys are surely lost or abandoned pet kittens. Pistachio is a handsome black tabby and gray boy, while Peach Drop is a plush-velvet black lad. Both kittens are PERFECTLY HEALTHY, but their FRIGHT in the scary shelter setting caused the ACC to WRITE THEM OFF as New Hope Only behavior problems, to be “CURED” via lethal injection at noon tomorrow. Please know that these darling kittens will gentle down as soon as they escape the ACC hellhole. Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt betrayed, scared kittens PISTACHIO and PEACH DROP from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save them yourself, please SHARE their sad story and PLEDGE for their rescue!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Pistachio came to us as a stray on 4/15/15. The cat was not handled upon intake because he came in a trap cage. Pistachio can be seen hiding in his den when approaching the kennel. He seems to be indifferent toward the assessor’s presence during the assessment. He did not allow the assessor to touch him, and hissed at the assessor when an attempt was made. The behavior department believes that Pistachio will be best placed with a rescue. Reaction to assessor: continues to hide (was hiding when you approached cage) (3) When spoken to quietly: continues to hide (3) Reaction to cage door opening: remains motionless or does not respond (2) Reaction to touch: continues to hide, hisses when trying to touch. (3)
