RE-EXAM (7/09):

BAR, eating, playful  when out, likes back rubs

R Radius – distal chips to bone felt, carpus laxity, cat now placs this paw at times

 

A: R distal radial chip fx, carpaus needs rads to see extent of osseuous fxs

 

P: CWCTP

add in meloxicam 0.18cc SC

 

NH placement Fair Px- Rads needed but chip fractures may be able to heal with weight bearing Vs Sx with bone chip removal

BEHAVIOR:

Reaction to Assessor: Piffington was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she chirps, comes to the front and head-butts the cage door.

Reaction to cage door opening: Piffington remains soft and relaxed.

Reaction to touch: Piffington head-butts, begins to purr, and attempts to climb up the assessor’s body to snuggle.

Reaction to being picked up: Piffington remains calm and allows handling.

 

Behavior Determination: Beginner

Piffington interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
