PIERRE – A1043035

***GONE 07/25/15*** SECOND CHANCE! MAKE IT COUNT!! HEADBUTTING HUGE EBONY LOVEBUG, DUMPED DUE TO MOVE, HAS A CHARMING VOLUNTEER PLEA AND A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE HE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT PIERRE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Handsome and HUGE ebony sweetheart PIERRE, just four years old, was dumped into the kill-happy ACC when his old owners moved to new cat-free digs and left this poor boy to face his fate alone. Fifteen-pound Pierre quickly charmed an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “4-year-old Pierre pretends to be the strong, silent type (and at 14 lbs, most people believe him). But really it’s all an act – one taste of chin scratches, and he melts in your hands! His tough look will impress the neighbors through the window, but only you will know he’s just a big teddy bear!” Pierre HEADBUTTED his way to an awesome EXPERIENCE behavioral rating, but this big chunk of love will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Please don’t let them murder this lover boy! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable black boy PIERRE! If you can’t save PIERRE yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

07/07/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
7/7/15 13:59 Basic information: Pierre is a 4 yr. old neutered male domestic short hair mix. The owner surrendered Oliver because she is moving and can’t keep the cat. Pierre has no health problems and the owner has not taken him to a vet. Socialization: The owner states that around strangers Pierre is very shy and will not approach at first. Pierre has not been around children but around adults he prefers to be left alone. He has never been around animals so the owner has no idea how Pierre would react around them. Pierre has never bitten or scratched anyone. Behavior: Pierre has never been bathed, or had his nails trimmed. He does not mind having his coat brushed, being picked up and allows being placed in a cat carrier. For a new family to know: The owner describes Pierre as friendly and shy cat with a medium activity level. Pierre has never played with toys; he lives mostly indoors and sleeps anywhere in the house that he wants. In the home Pierre will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner. Pierre eats various brands of brand wet and dry cat food and is feed two times a day. He is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clay litter. Pierre has never been given a scratching post so the owner does not know if he will use it or not. Behavior during intake: During intake Pierre was tense with stiff body, he allowed us to scan (-) put on collar, photographed and placed in cat kennel.
