All three have the shelter cold which gives the ACC an excuse to list them rather than work on finding them homes!! PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING OR ADOPTING ONE OR ALL OF THESE LITTLE SWEETHEARTS…THEY HAVE JUST STARTED TO LIVE…DON’T LET THEM BE ACC STATISTICS AT NOON TOMORROW!! SAVE THEM NOW!!

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 10/24/2015 from NY 11413, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-037106.

10/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Picnic was bought into the care center by his previous owner due to no longer being able to finically take care of him. The previous owner described Picnic as playful. No other information was given. Please note that Picnic is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Picnic was resting at the back of the cage When spoken quietly: Picnic streches and makes eye contact Reaction to door cage opening: Picnic remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Picnic allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Picnic is tolerant of this type of handling. She also relaxed and began to purr. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Picnic was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Picnic is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
