Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Pheobe does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Pheobe does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Pheobe retreats Reaction to touch: Pheobe moves away from me to avoid being touched Try picking cat up: Did not attempt to pick up Pheobe Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
