PEPPER – A1047215
8-11-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 08/11/15** Two sisters, one night, zero time left–PRINCESS and PEPPER need a New Hope rescue to pull them to safety straightaway! These gorgeous siblings were happily living with young children and sleeping in their former owner’s bed, but all of that changed on August 8th. These girls were brought to the shelter and abandoned to find their way back out again, but since they are utterly TERRIFIED in their new surroundings, the ACC has not put them up for public adoption. These girls are less than 2 years old and should be lovely companions when they are in a home setting. Only a New Hope rescue group can save their lives tonight, so PLEASE make sure these two are pulled to safety by fostering or adopting if you can!

08/09/15 20:00hrs Pepper is described as a spayed 1 year old cat. She was cared for by her owner along with her sibling Princess (A1047214) for the past year but she is being surrendered because their owner is moving and can’t take them SOCIAL LIFE & PERSONALITY Pepper is a playful and affectionate cat. She has lived with children aged 6 to 9 years old and played gently with them. She enjoyed being petted and allowed being picked up. She played well with her sister Princess. They ate together, groomed each other and slept together. Pepper is litter box trained and kept only indoors. BEHAVIOR Pepper was accustomed to grooming herself. She had her nails trimmed at the vet’s office. She would follow her owner around the home. She would approach visitors who came to the house. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Pepper is accustomed to using an uncovered litter box that she shared with the other cat in the home. She plays with cat toy balls and chasing her sister around the home. She was fed dry cat food primarily. She enjoyed using her cat tower that had carpeted siding. She always slept in her owner’s bed. DURING INTAKE Pepper was stressed during the intake because she was hissing and growling inside of her carrier. She was unable to be collared or photographed.
