***SAFE 06/08/15***SUPER SWEET BUT SAD DREAMSICLE CREAMSICLE NEEDS NEW FRIEND! Sad sigh! This loving and gentle fella was brought into the shelter in his former owner’s backpack. Not only is six year old delicious gingerbread man an absolute angel, he is healthy, neutered and was dumped at the shelter due to “personal problems’ even though he has been a loyal feline friend since he was a kitten. This great guy is described as loving, mellow, friendly and affectionate. He is on a special diet to avoid bladder stones but don’t let that deter you from opening up your heart and home to this special boy. Please reserve Pepito online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation. And don’t forget that fostering saves lives so even if you can only offer temporary safe haven to this delicious creamsicle, please don’t hesistate! Won’t you please be this great gingerbread man’s rescue angel? Save a life. Make a difference

06/02/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/02/15 19:49 Basic Info: Pepito is a 6 year old neutered orange and white cat. His owner got him from a breeder about 6 years ago. He is on Urinary S/O food for bladder stones. He is described as independent and loving. Social Life and Personality: This cat is comfortable around small children but he doesn’t really play with them. He is gentle when he does interact with the kids. Papito does NOT like other cats. He lived with his sister for a short time and he would not allow her near the litter box, his or her own. The opposite is true of dogs. Papito has a good history with dogs. He gets along with large and small dogs alike. He is master of the litter box and has been kept exclusively indoors. Papito’s activity level is just about average. He is described as mellow, friendly and affectionate. Behavior Issues: Papito will struggle in the bath. He really does not like it and he will swat at you and hiss until that is made clear. He isn’t bothered by a good brushing but he doesn’t like to be picked up or held. In the carrier Papito will meow and cry for a short time but he does calm down after a few minutes. For a New Family to Know: This big boy is most used to Tidy Cats litter in his automatic box. He is a big fan of ball toys and stuffed toys. Stuffed mice are his top prize. He loves to scratch a carpeted post or even just the carpet itself. When his owner is home, Papito likes to be in the same room or following close behind them. He is gentle at play time and he has been known to meow while in the car. He is fed S/O food to keep his urinary crystals in check. This guy is on a feeding schedule of morning feed, 3 pm feed and 9 pm feed. After his 9 pm meal he has been seen passed out at the end of his owner’s bed. Behavior During Intake: This cat was brought in inside of a backpack. He went into the carrier without an issue. He allowed me to collar him and take his photo. While I was collaring the cat, he became hard bodied and was looking at the window. When I finished with the collar he started to make his way closer to the window. I put my hand up to slow him and he stopped and hissed at my hand. I took two quick pictures and he hissed again. I placed the food inside the carrier and he followed. As I closed the door, the cat hissed two more times.
