PURRING KITTEN LOVEBUG, DUMPED FOR ALLERGIES, NEEDS A HOME “WHERE IT WILL BE LOVED”, SAID OLD OWNER – PLEASE GRANT PENELOPE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! The Perils of Penelope unfolded like this: Pretty princess PENELOPE, a six-month-old black and white beauty, was betrayed by her old owner, who dumped her into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties due to ALLERGIES. That former owner DID ask that this lovely kitten go to a home “WHERE IT WILL BE LOVED” and stated that Penelope “Loves to play”, “Enjoys Petting”, “Loves to cuddle & be picked up”. Penelope PURRED her way up to a very good EXPERIENCE NO CHILD behavior rating, although she lived with a child in her old home. But the ACC will KILL Penelope at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that this EXCELLENT kitten is PERFECTLY HEALTHY. Please prevent Penelope’s date with death! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt sweet betrayed kitten PENELOPE! If you can’t save PENELOPE yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

04/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please take note: Penelope’s former owner stated she loves to play, enjoys petting, loves to cuddle & be picked up. Reaction to assessor: Penelope looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Penelope remains sitting upright at the front of the cage, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Penelope allows the stroke, purrs in place but becomes agitated with the touch. She began to low growl and hiss, but then spins towards the assessor’s hand to solicit more attention. Placement determination: Experience /no child Penelope tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
