PECAN SWIRL – A1046167
8-7-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 08/07/15*** PECAN SWIRL AND MR TABBY ARE ANOTHER TWO CATS FROM A LARGE GROUP OF BEAUTIFUL KITTIES DUMPED BY THEIR OWNER FOR MOVING!! PLEASE DON’T LET THESE 2 GO THE WAY OF THE OTHERS AND BE MORE ACC STATISTICS!! How do you explain the heartbreak and outrage to see this entire family of stray cats who were socialized and lived many years indoors with their owner, who turned them from strays to house pets and then he dumps them ALL like trash for moving!!! PECAN SWIRL AND MR TABBY lived a devoted life to this ONE owner who brought them inside and helped them adjust to life in a home – BUT THEN WHEN HE MOVED, HE DISPOSED OF ALL OF THEM IN THE KILL HAPPY ACC!!! The other cats who didn’t make is so far are TAFFY, COLDSTONES, BEAU, VANILLA and SUNDAE. WAFFLE CONE’S status is unknown at this time. HOW MANY MORE WILL DIE BECAUSE OF BEING DUMPED? BOTH these boys are afraid and received an EXPNOCHILD and EXPERIENCE rating. They only knew their one owner and now they are in a scary shelter with strangers and noises and smells all foreign to them. CAN YOU BLAME THEM FOR BEING AFRAID?? PLEASE DON’T LET THE ACC WIPE OUT THE REMAINING HOUSEMATES FROM THIS GROUP. GRANT PECAN SWIRL AND MR TABBY A DEATH ROW PARDON TONIGHT! CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL THEM TO SAFETY.

08/05/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Pecon looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Pecon remains tightly curled with tail close to the body, turned sideways at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Pecon hisses at first, but accepts the stroke while he stiffens in place with ears down to his side, he remains cautious with his surroundings. Placement determination: Experience / no child Peacon Swirl tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
