PEACHIE – A1048938
Gone 9-1-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 09/01/15***Sweet PEACHIE is a cute little torbie, only 1 year old, who was brought into the shelter as a stray. She has a minor would that will heal nicely with no further treatment. PEACHIE is afraid and lets herself be pet and lowers her head, not sure if she should trust the hands that are examining her. She may need time to warm up to a new home and would be good in an experienced cat home with no children. Little PEACHIE is on today’s kill list, and this little sweetie doesn’t deserve to die a sad lonely death. She would make a great furever companion. Please give sweet PEACHIE a chance to be pampered and loved!!! Foster or adopt PEACHIE today!!!

08/31/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Peachie does not come to the front, but remains neutral in her cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Peachie’s eyes wander around. Reaction to cage door opening: Peachie remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Peachie lowers her head and remains immobile for petting. She closes her eyes during the interaction and doesn’t lift her head up until the assessor stops petting her. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Peachie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
