*** GONE 08/13/15 *** PAUL & MAURY CAME INTO THE ACC WITH FRIEND PETER (not listed tonight)…..As one can see, they are beautiful cats but they have not been socialized well and MAURY has a NEW HOPE rating. They are both 3 years old. A FOSTER COULD SAVE THE DAY FOR THESE CATS!! PAUL & MAURY need TIME and TLC, something the ACC is never willing to give….IF YOU CAN HELP THESE TWO HANDSOME GENTS, CONTACT A NEW HOPE RESCUE NOW!! The ACC is not going to wait tomorrow and neither should you!!

08/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Paul looks tense in his cage when appoached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Paul remains crouched down at the back, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Paul accepts the stroke, however he stiffens up in place then began to slowly retreat away from the assessor’s hand with ears down to his side. Placement determination: Experience / no child Paul tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
