All she needs is time and TLC to make her feel right at home….BUT WILL SHE GET THAT CHANCE?? The shelter thinks I am about 1 YEAR I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/06/2015 from NY 10027, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. She let me pet her and seemed to enjoy me rubbing her head. When transferred into the crate she wanted to wander and explore but went into the crate easily, she fell asleep after a while. Reaction to door opening: Patches remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Patches accepts the stroke, but began to lip lick in place and shows no interest on the touch. Placement determination: Experience Patches tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
