PATCHES – A1039083
6-10-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 06/10/15** Patches needs a New Hope rescue group to pull him to safety, tonight! This glossy boy is healthy in every other way, but a probable sacroiliac luxation has him not moving his hind end at all, and must be causing him tremendous pain. He is in no mood to play games with the ACC staff so his New Hope rating comes as no surprise. New Hope rescues would love to pull Patches and would cover his medical costs, but they need someone to serve as a foster home for this boy. Do you live within a few hours of NYC, and do you have a little bit of extra room in your heart and your home? If so, please work with a New Hope rescue group to save lovely PATCHES tonight!

06/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Patches was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Patches was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: hisses, growls at me When spoken quietly: hisses, growls at me Reaction to door cage opening: become stiff, alert, continues to hiss Reaction to touch: hisses, growls Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Placement Determination: NewHope
