rectum re-prolapsed, large amount of rectum prolapsed but tissue, though bruised and edemaous intact, straining flaccid. red rubber vetwrapped as stylette to tail to keep rectum in overnight, saline fill with tilt attempted to remove any intussuseptions. begin pain medication
RE-EXAM:
GIVEN 0.05 TELAZOL
LEFT EAR TIPPED
RECOVERED WELL, BAR, EATING NOW, VERY COMFORTABLE
RECTUM STAYED IN OVERNIGHT WITH RED RUBBER ALONG TAIL, FOLDED RED RUBBER DOWN THE MIDDLE AND USED AS SYLETTE, VETWRAPPED TO THE TAIL.
HAS A DEADLINE DUE TO RECURRENCE OF CONDITION AND BEHAVIOR MAKING DIFFICULT TO TREAT
HOWEVER IS STABLE AND IF EDEMA AND MUSCLE STRETCHING OF RECTUM CAN RESOLVE PROGNOSIS IS FAIR TO GOOD. IS ABLE TO DEFECATE.
