SAFE- 04/19/15 PAT IS PURRFECTION!! Friendly and lived with another cat (CURIE – A1033245), PAT is here because of housing issues. But it is apparent that PAT did not receive good care from his former owner. PAT has mouth issues that are curable but need competent vet attention. IF YOU FOSTER, the rescue will help with those vet bills and you will help PAT get better. DON’T MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE A LIFE TONIGHT!! PAT IS A FRIENDLY TUXIE TWO YEAR OLD WHO DESERVES BETTER THAN ABANDONMENT…..

04/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Owner Profile: Pat was bought into the care center because his previous owner had to many animals. Pat has not been around children so his behavior around them are unknown. Pat has lived with another animals and has got along with them. The previous owner stated he loves to cuddle and be picked up. Pat is litter box trained. Notes: At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a very limited way. Although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: ignores me completely Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: moves away from me to avoid being touched Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: Experience no child
