09/08/15 09:14 Paquita was sitting in the carrier with a soft body. When the door was opened she walked out. She allowed scanning and being picked up. She was then placed on the counter for photos. She sniffed the counter but eventually looked up for a photo. She was then collared and placed back in the carrier. She ate the wet food offered to her.

Notes: Paquita was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment Paquita was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Paquita is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention, rubs on hand Try picking cat up: Paquita remained calm while being held Placement Determination: Average
