07/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Panda was calm and relaxed upon approach. He shifts his position and rubs his cheeks against his litter box when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Panda remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Panda remains in place, leans onto the assessor’s hand, and head-butts lightly after a little while. Reaction to being picked up: Panda becomes tense and struggles to be put back down. Behavior Determination: Experience Panda tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
