She is shy at first but warms up with just a little loving…SO WHO IS GOING TO SPEAK UP FOR THIS LOVELY LITTLE PEACH TONIGHT?? The ACC doesn’t care how cute she is……and won’t tomorrow at noon either. I am a female org tabby domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 4 MONTHS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/03/2015 from NY 11212, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/03/15 17:16 Palmetta is a 4 month old female orange tabby domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Palmetta was slightly shy but receptive to introduction and loose for handling. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Palmetta was easily replaced to the carrier.

Please note that Palmetta is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Palmetta does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Palmetta does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Palmetta remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Palmetta allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Palmetta is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Palmetta was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Palmetta is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
