***SAFE 06/23/2015 PACHANGO WAS RESCUED BY HIS PREVIOUS OWNER WHEN HE SAW SOMEONE TRYING TO BASH HIM WITH A STICK!!! It sounds as if he really loved PACHANGO but is living with an elderly person who has severe allergies. I wonder if he knew bringing lovely PACHANGO to the ‘Care Center’ could mean his death? It hardly seems fair! PACHANGO has been well cared for, and though nervous, is a gentle boy who would do well in a home! He’s lived with a ‘sister’ kitty and is gentle with children, removing himself from them if they become rough. He’s a good guy, and he’s already been neutered, and is a kind, sweet, and mellow mango mancat! Please don’t leave him behind-reach out and offer to foster this boy!!! He is an elegant and kind soul who would be the purrfect cat to foster fail with!!! SAVE PACHANGO TONIGHT!!!!

06/17/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/17/15 12:44 BASIC INFO Panchango’s owner found him and his sister outside almost a year ago. Pachango was about 4 weeks old and a man was trying to bash them with a stick. His owner took them in with plans to find homes for them. He lives with an elderly person with health issues and allergies and is unable to keep them. Panchango’s sister is staying with a friend. SOCIALIZATION Panchango is shy with new people for a few minutes and then friendly. He’s spent time with children ages 2-10 years and is relaxed and affectionate with them but leaves and hides if they’re being rough. He plays gently with adults and children. He lived with his sister. He was relaxed, affectionate, tolerant, and played gently with her. They spent time together and groomed each other. Panchango hasn’t bit/scratched any people/animals. BEHAVIOR Panchango has no known behavior issues. He does ok in a carrier on a motorcycle but is probably nervous. He enjoys being picked up/held and bathed. When his owner takes him out of the bath to dry him, he jumps back in. He doesn’t mind having his nails trimmed, being put in a carrier, or being woken up. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Panchango’s family describes him as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident, attentive, and high energy. He follows his owner around and cries if he gets left alone in a room and to be picked up. He likes to observe and eat. He plays with string, wand toys, stuffed toys, and catnip toys. Panchango lived inside and slept on a cat bed with his sister. He ate dry and wet 9 Lives food. He used a litterbox and didn’t have accidents. He’s used to an uncovered litterbox with clumping litter. He scratched a vertical scratching post with carpet and rough rope and didn’t scratch furniture. INTAKE Panchango was a little tense but allowed all handling without resisting, retreating, or vocalizing-scan (-), collar, petting, picking up, putting in kennel, positioning for pictures. He sat crouched on the counter for pictures and lied in the back of his kennel.
