06/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Oreo was bought into the care center due to his previous owner passing away. Oreo seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He has tried to bite and is extremely fearful. Oreo currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: growls, hisses, strikes Reaction to touch: growls, hisses, strikes, does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up, fractious behavior. Placement Determination: NewHope
