***SAFE 07/28/15***Poor baby ORANGE was found under a truck and was brought into the ACC. She’s just 13 weeks old and has multiple health issues that need to be addressed. She was very afraid as anyone might guess, but then relaxed a little when pet and showed limited interaction. NOW she needs a RESCUE that will take care of her and a foster who can allow her to have a place to heal. And at no cost to the foster! The Rescue will take care of that! So please, contact a NEW HOPE RESCUE NOW and free ORANGE and help her to heal!

07/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Orange was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless, ears flat Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch, ears flat Try picking cat up: Did not attempt dur to injury Placement Determination: Experience

The other wound sites were dressed with SSD and wrapped with Telfa and Vetwrap. 2) I speak with Dr. 0844 (at BACC), who will bring non-absorbable suture material to SIACC tomorrow, for closure of bandaged wounds and revision of closed R lateral thigh wound. 3) Convenia 0.15 cc SC. 4) Meloxicam (5 mg/ml) 0.08 cc SC 5) Consider administration of Buprenex SR tomorow (07/23/15). 6) FVRCP – RFL @ 11:55AM RV- RHL @ 11:55AM 7) Activyl application tomorow (07/23/15).
