OPTIMUS – A1038152
6-22-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 06/22/15***BEGINNER DREAMSICLE CREAMSICLE NEEDS YOU! Sad Sigh! Four year old Optimus came in to the shelter back on 5/30 after being seized when his owner was arrested. According to his notes, this extremely affectionate, loving fab fella was left alone for a couple of weeks without food or water. Despite his dire circumstances (that include moderate dehydration), Optimus is a head-butting, affectionate gentleman who would love to go home with you. Despite being underweight and having a couple of medical issues ((probably due to being left alone for so long), Optimus has a good appetite and ready to be someone’s furever friend. He probably needs a follow up vet check but please don’t be deterred to offer this great guy a new leash on life. Everyone knows gingerbread men are the sweetest and Optimus is no exception. Please reserve him online. Or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation. Let’s help write a happy ending to Optimus’ nightmare. Won’t you please be this beginner dreamsicle creamsicle’s hero?

05/30/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
The cat was easy to handle because he was underweight and very motivated by food. He was hissing and growling but possibly due to medical condition. He was rubbing my legs and hissing at the same time while I opened the can food and tried to feed him. Hence, hissing/growling behavior is suspected to be related to a medical condition.
