OONA – A1044202
7-20-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 07/20/15** OUTRAGEOUS! Six-month-old OONA was moaning with pain during her shelter intake on July 15th and passed “what looked to be string in the stool,” but she hasn’t been seen by an ACC vet since July 16th. Her scant medical notes do not even reflect that anyone palpated her abdomen, which just goes to show that the ACC is only, really interested in giving out lethal injections. This is a lovely kitten who should be checked out by a competent vet, and who then should have a long, happy life ahead of her. Do right by OONA and SAVE this great kitten, tonight!

07/15/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/15/15 21:06 Behavior during Intake: This cat was very fearful during intake. As I tilted the carrier to remove the cat, she began to moan in pain and she urinated a large amount. She had also defecated in the carrier and there was what looked to be string in the stool. I did not photograph this cat or collar it due to its extreme fear. Jeremy Beyer

07/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Oona looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Oona remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Oona accepts the stroke, but stiffens and flinches during the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Oona tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
