09/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: October was brought to the care center as a owner surrender. We don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: becomes alert Reaction to touch: allows petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Did not attempt due to October being fearful Placement Determination: Experience no child
