*** GONE 10/05/15***TERRIFIC TABBY RETURNED AND NEEDS NEW FRIEND-BE NUGGET’S HERO! Sad sigh! Six year old Nugget is another faithful feline friend betrayed by her former folks. Nugget was adopted out of the ACC six years ago when she was a kitten only to be returned there on 9/25 when her owners decided to move and not take her along. She is a lovely lady, a brown tabby with an adorable white vest, who is used to living with other cats, spayed and used to live as a pampered housepet. She is healthy, playful and would love a new snuggler partner. Could that special someone be you? Please reserve Nugget online or let a rescue know if you can help. Transportation is available if you live within a few hours of NYC (to adopt) and no more than an hour out of town for fosters. Won’t you please open up your heart and home to this terrific tabby?

Notes: Nugget at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way.
