Exquisitely handsome two-year-old Russian Blue stunner NISSE finds himself stuffed into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a supposed STRAY, but he entered the shelter with plush clean fur, at a healthy weight – it’s obvious that Nisse is a lost or abandoned pet kitty! Reaction to assessor: Nisse does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside his cage. When softly spoken to, he avoids eye contact. Reaction to cage door opening: Nisse remains immobile. Reaction to touch: Nisse sniffs the assessor’s hand and allows petting, but slowly moves away and blinks. Behavior Determination: Experience Nisse tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
