*** GONE 10/07/15 *** NINA’S OWNER’S BROUGHT HER TO THE ACC INSTEAD OF THE VET…..NINA has been going outside her box and her owners promptly decided that they couldn’t afford vet visits, never mind that they haven’t gotten NINA spayed either so she just may be displaying heat behaviors….which of course could be eliminated…..NINA HAS A LOT GOING FOR HER!! She is good with kids, ok with other cats, likes to sleep with her owners and likes to hide in handbags!! PLEASE HELP THIS LOVELY GIRL GET A HOME TONIGHT!! A CAT LIKE NINA IS PRICELESS!! SAVE HER NOW BY OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

09/21/15 18:45 Basic information Nina is an approx 3 year old DSH.She is being surrendered because of litter box issues. She has been urinating on the owners furniture for the past couple of weeks. They recieved Nina as a gift from a neighbor. She has not seen a vet and has no known health issues. Socialization Nina is shy around strangers. She will hide but will come back out eventually. She is great around children and plays exuberantly with them. She is very curious around other cats and has not been around dogs. She has not bitten anyone or any other animal. Behavior Nina had two litters in the past two years. She has begun urinating out of the box. The owners say that they cannot afford vet costs. She has been having accidents for the past couple of weeks. She has not been given a bath. She has not had her nails trimmed. She loves attention and loves to be held. For a new family to know The owners describe Nina as friendly, affectionate, playful and is relaxed. She has her own bed on top a shelf in the living room and a scratching post. She has plenty of toys and loves to catch mice. She loves to cuddle up to her owners and likes to hide in purses and bags. She was being fed 9 lives. Behavior during intake Nina was quiet and relaxed during intake. She allowed all handling-scanning(-), collaring and photographs. She was friendly and purred as I pet her head.

Nina’s former owner stated she is shy around strangers. She will hide but will come back out eventually. She is great around children and plays exuberantly with them. She is very curious around other cats and has not been around dogs. Also, described her as friendly, affectionate, playful and is relaxed. Reaction to assessor: Nina looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Nina remains resting on her cage bedding. Reaction to touch: Nina accepts the stroke, purrs in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy and jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Nina interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
