***SAFE 11/06/15*** DESPITE FRACTURES, NIGEL HAS A BEGINNER RATING AND REACHES OUT FROM HIS CAGE WITH HIS PAWS…..NIGEL came to the ACC as a stray so we don’t know his back story or what happened to him. What we do know is that NIGEL needs our help tonight!! AN IDEAL SITUATION for NIGEL would be a NEW HOPE rescue pull with a loving foster. NIGEL would have a place for healing and TLC and the rescue would take care of the vet bills….PLEASE HELP THIS SWEET YOUNG MAN!! HE HAS NO ONE BUT YOU TO SAVE HIM…..

11/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Nigel was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Upon intake he allowed all handling. Please note that this cat has a severe medical condition so we may not be seeing any true behavior and behavior may change when the cat’s medical condition improves. Reaction to assessor: Nigel makes eye contact with the assessor but doesn’t come forward. Reaction when softly spoken to: Nigel quickly comes to the front and reaches out with paws. He starts soliciting attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Nigel is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Nigel allows petting and starts to rub against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Nigel is soft and relaxed when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Nigel interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
