He’s just looking for his forever home). He vocalizes and asks very nicely for your attention. His markings are quite beautiful, with very wide stripes. Nicky loves to be petted because he is what you could call a people person, er… cat.” Nicky is just a little over a year old, has lived with kids and lived with his family since he was only a month old. He is still basically a kitten and deserves the chance to grow up in a loving home. This affectionate angel just deserves the chance to grow up—period! He has caught the dreaded kitty cold and despite an excellent prognosis, the ACC still plas to kill this fab fella when tomorrow afternoon rolls around. 06/27/15 12:02 BASIC INFORMATION Nicky is a male, gray tabby cat that is 1 year old. Nicky was a gift from a friend to the family. Nicky became part of the family when he was just a month old kitten. Owner is surrendering Nicky because his brother is allergic to cats. SOCIALAZATION Nicky is friendly cat and enjoys being around people. He would slowly approach stranger and rub on people. He sniff stranger and is curious of new environment. Nicky has been around children (5 and up) is gentle and rubs for attention. Around adult he seeks attention and enjoys sleeping next to people. When he plays he is gentle and affection. Nicky has never been around other dog or cats. BEHAVIOR Nicky is an independent cat. He always uses his hooded litter box with fresh step litter. He has never had an accident. He has never bitten or scratched any one. But he is tolerant of having his nails trimmed, being held, having his coat brushed. He struggles a bit going into a box carrier but prefer carrier with a door, he will walk right in. He allows to be moved off furniture with no problem. FOR NEW FAMILIES TO KNOW Nicky is playful, independent and affectionate. He enjoys watching out the window for hours. He will engage in play when family member are around. He enjoys playing with balls that have bells in them. Nicky groom his nails on the house carpet. He can be very vocal when his hungry and his playing. He enjoys a moderate amount of Blue Wellness dry cat food. Nicky can be part of any family because he has a calm and playful personality. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAK Behavior during intake Nicky body was tense. His tail was neutral and he lip licked. He allowed being held my counselor. He allowed to be scanned (negative), collard and photographed.

06/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Nicky is at the front and meows softly. When softly spoken to, he rubs his cheeks on the door and plops on his side. Reaction to cage door opening: Nicky remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Nicky rubs and head-butts the assessor’s hand, rolls over onto his back and presents his belly. He does not mind belly rubs. Reaction to being picked up: Nicky remains calm and allows handling. As per previous owner, Nicky is a friendly cat and enjoys being around people. He slowly approaches and sniffs strangers, but would rub on them. He is gentle and rubs for affection around children, and will seek attention and sleep next to adults. He is gentle and affectionate during play. The owners described him as playful, independent and affectionate. Behavior Determination: Beginner Sammy interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
