Her behavior is unknown towards other animals. Nicki was found outside but been indoors for the past month. The previous owner stated her activity level is low and that she mostly lays around. Reaction to assessor: Nicki does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Nicki does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Nicki retreats Reaction to touch: Nicki allows petting on her head. She does like to be touched on her back this may be due to her skin being irritated by her flea allergy. She will hiss and bite if touched in that area Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience No Child At the time of the assessment Nicki was displaying shy behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her on her head and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
