07/15/15 12:29 Intake Behavior: New Jersey was very vocal throughout the intake untill given food. New Jersey allowd to be picked up out of the carrier and placed on the table for photos. New Jersey was eager to jump off the counter but allowed to be repositioned back on the counter. New Jersey also was easily handled for collaring, scanning, transfering, and being placed back in the carrier; did not show any aggressive behaviors.

Reaction to Assessor: New Jersey was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she meows softly. Reaction to cage door opening: New Jersey remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: New Jersey was a little hesitant at first, but lifts her butt up when pet on her lower back. She remains in place for petting and starts to purr. Reaction to being picked up: New Jersey remains soft and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average New Jersey interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
