07/08/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Neon came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior or his situation in his previous home. He has been timid since intake, trying to bite and scratch during his initial medical exam, and and he continues to avoid human interaction. Reaction to assessor: Neon hides in the litterbox and hisses when approached. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains motionless, tense. Reaction to touch: Neon allows gentle handling and being picked up, but he does not relax or solicit attention and remains highly fearful. Neon appears fearful of human interaction and may have been poorly socialized. We recommend an experienced adopter familiar with the socialization process who can provide French Fries with positive experiences to help build his confidence and trust.
