Gone 12-8-2015 Brooklyn
*** GONE 12/08/15 *** THE QUESTION TONIGHT IS NOT FINDING NEMO, BUT FINDING NEMO A HOME!! NEMO belonged to someone plain and simple. He is only a year old and he is already NEUTERED. What circumstance caused him to be on the street we don’t know….what we do know is that the ACC will not hesitate to be rid of him tomorrow…..NEMO is frightened right now, but he won’t always be that way!! Time, Attention and Patience will work wonders if someone will step up!! PLEASE APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT NEMO, AND NOT ONLY FIND HIM BUT SAVE HIM!!

12/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Nemo was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was emitting a low growl upon intake and his ears were flat against his head. He was very nervous during his initial medical exam and attempted to flee. Reaction to Assessor: Nemo was stiff and alert upon approach. He whines and meows softly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Nemo looks at the assessor, and then looks away. Reaction to cage door opening: Nemo remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Nemo becomes very stiff and slowly sniffs the assessor’s hand. He meows softly and lip licks, but remains immobile when pet. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Nemo tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
