Nelson A1058681 – 14wks DSH 1.7lbs Male Stray Intake:11/21/15

sex: male

est age: 4-5mos (has permanent canines, retained upper deciduous canines)

S/O: Kitten is QAR; in lateral recumbency; bilateral mucopurulent ocular/nasal discharge; BCS 2/9; T-93, P-150, R-40; oral ulceration/infection left side of mouth in area of pre-molars; bilateral crackles on lung auscultation; alopecia dorsal aspect all four paws; dried stool/blood in fur on hind legs; Parvo Test Neg.; Combo Test Neg., kitten has appetite!

A: Emaciation, dehydration, URI, oral infection, possible pneumonia

P: Gave 50cc SQ LRS, 0.14cc Baytril 22.7mg/ml SQ, 0.07cc buprenorphine 0.5mg/ml SQ; Inform NH needs to go to vet today 7PM deadline

NOTE: Kitten is non-ambulatory but hard to tell if from injury or weakness; will need to reassess after supportive care

PROGNOSIS:

Poor
