04/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Nelson was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. Nelson is showing some concerning behavior in the care center, soliciting attention at the front of the cage but once the door is opened Nelson puts his teeth on the assessor’s hand. He uses pressure but not enough to break skin, he also uses his paws to grab the assessor’s hand but does not use nails. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: puts teeth on hand but applies only minimal pressure Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Experience no child
