*** SAFE 06/13/15 *** SUPER SENIOR NAYA’S REWARD FOR 15 YEARS OF LOVE IS A DEATH SENTENCE…..Instead of love and care in her old age, NAYA’s owner dumped her at the ACC….”Owner came to surrender Naya because of her health issue and she moving to a new place that doesn’t accept pets”…….Lovely NAYA has an AVERAGE rating and got along with adults and children. WHAT NAYA NEEDS IS A COMPETENT VET EXAM TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON….PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT….SENIORS NEED HELP TOO AND ARE SO OFTEN PASSED OVER FOR YOUNGER CATS….If you FOSTER, a rescue will help with the vet bills and you can help a senior like NAYA have a happy ending…..SAVE A SENIOR TONITE!!

06/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Naya came to us as an owner surrender on 6/3/15. It was reported by the previous owner that Naya comes from a home with one adult and two children. She was described as being respectful towards everyone in the household. She can be seen with relaxed body language in the kennel, and begins to solicit attention from the assessor once in view. She allowed the assessor to pet her softly and pick her up while maintaining loose body language. The behavior department believes that Naya can go to an average home. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you – is calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken to quietly: comes to front of cage – soliciting, rubbing against cage front, reaching out with paws Reaction to cage door opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention – rubs, chirps, meows, Reaction to being picked up: Allows this type of handling
